AW23 - BA Graduate Collection

This collection explores the tension between inherited ideals of femininity and contemporary expressions of identity. Drawing on the sculptural silhouettes of the 1940s and 1950s, the garments reinterpret traditional forms through distressed surfaces, torn construction, and contrasting materials.

Acid-washed leather, delicate lace, and deadstock lambskin explore the relationship between strength and vulnerability, transforming garments shaped by expectation into symbols of resilience. Influenced by Věra Chytilová’s Daisies, the collection embraces disruption and imperfection, questioning established representations of femininity while proposing clothing as both protection and resistance.
